1979 ERR Triathlon

The Emmaus Road Runners Triathlon was the first triathlon held east of the Mississippi. In the 1979 inaugural event, the participants swam 1 mile in Christman's Lake in Lenhartsville PA followed by a 30 mile bike ride to Emmaus Community Park and a 10 mile run through the streets (and hills) of Emmaus PA and neighboring towns.
